"As always, an excellent place to stay. Generously proportioned for two guests (best we’ve ever found), lovely and quiet, with all the amenities you’d expect and more. Top it off with great hosts and it’s a perfect getaway near a variety of places to visit. Till the next time! " Margaret and Robert (August 2026) |
| "The Cowshed has been an excellent base for exploring the walks and area around. It is one of the best (if not THE best) s-c cottages we have stayed in, in the UK. Immaculate and equipped with everything! A lovely warm welcome and welcome pack too. Thank you so much Brian and Gill." Jean and Michael (May 2021) |
| "Happy to give a 5 star review, would give more. Just completed our third visit and already looking forward to our fourth. If you are looking for a venue that has everything look no further." ANDREW and DEANNA (July 2022) |
| "The Cowshed is a very special place. The cottage itself is beautiful, , and immaculate. The location is stunning, set as it is , in most glorious countryside, and the views are wonderful. There are so many interesting places to visit, and things to do, and you are assured of a super holiday. " Alan and Barbara (September 2025) |
